Sold-out Field of Golfers for Little Eddie Big Cup [Slideshow]

On the last day in September, 144 golfers took part in the Little Eddie Big Cup fundraiser at Peninsula State Park Golf Course. This memorial golf scramble is held in remembrance of Eddie Strege and benefits the Mental Health Awareness Fund and the Ed Strege Family Memorial Fund. The fund’s mission is to promote mental health awareness, support mental health education and provide mental health care for people in Door County. Proceeds also support Ed Strege’s family through the Ed Strege Family Memorial Fund.
Awards for Best Dressed went to the foursome of Myles Dannhausen Jr., Anne Dannhausen, Kendall Goldsworthy and Matt Villalpando. The individual award went to Don Nichols, Ed Strege’s cousin, whose wife made his kilt.

The Little Eddie Big Cup Golf Outing at Peninsula State Park drew 144 participants. The team of Matt Villalpando, Andy Woerfel, Myles Dannhausen Jr., Kendall Goldsworthy, and Anne Dannhausen was terrible at golf, but won the prize for best-dressed, which is all that really matters.
