Deborah Dendler, resident sculptor of Fish Creek, will present her work in a solo exhibition, Deborah Dendler Sculpture and Drawings, at the Acton Memorial Library, Acton, Mass., from Nov. 4 to Dec. 30. The show consists of more than 40 bronze, epoxy bronze, porcelain and terracotta sculptures and reliefs, as well as portrait and figure drawings, most of which have never before been exhibited.

“The human condition is the main subject of my work,” said Dendler. “I believe in the resilience of the human spirit. At best, a sculpture’s gesture, movement, curves, planes, contours, textures, space, volumes, forms and structure all work together to reveal the interior space and spirit.”

Dendler exhibits her work regularly in solo, group and invitational exhibitions nationally and internationally. For more information visit deborahdendler.com.
