As a young man in the late 19th century, Billy Sunday was a professional baseball player with the Chicago White Stockings, the Pittsburgh Allegheneys, and the Philadelphia Pennants. He was famous, he made good money – and he left it all to become the most famous evangelist ever.

Mark Moede stars as Billy Sunday in “The Revival of Billy Sunday,” by Gerald Plummer. Door County’s own Spencer Milligan directs this Theatre M production in conjunction with Woodwalk Gallery. Come “hit the sawdust trail” with Sunday on Friday and Saturday, August 28 and 29, September 3, 4, and 5, and September 11, 12, and 13. Performances begin at 7:30 pm.
