Songwriter Showcase Rocks Steady at The Outpost

The Songwriter Showcase has found a new home in Egg Harbor at The Door County Outpost. With two very successful late-winter nights under their belt, hosts Adam Mackintosh and Anna Sacks head into the months of spring very excited. The next showcase will take place on Friday, April 24 at 7 pm.

The Showcase, now a traveling regional event, has grown to nearly 50 writers who visit the various locations with growing frequency in the spring and summer months. Songwriters will come from Chicago, Madison, Milwaukee and Minneapolis and drop in unannounced only to surprise and wow guests with their well-crafted catalog of songs. In that respect, the event is new and different every time for concertgoers and a great way to discover new talent and learn about when and where they will be performing full sets at nearby locations.

The Outpost, located at 4690 Rainbow Ridge Ct., has a terrific menu of light fare, desserts, beer and wine. With the eager support of new owners Carl and Susan Hruza, The Outpost is an excellent listening environment for experiencing the work of many of Wisconsin’s great songwriters.
