Southern Door Auditorium Host to Free Screening of ‘Paper Tigers’

The community is invited to join the Door County Partnership for Children and Families for a free showing of the film Paper Tigers and a panel discussion. This film follows a year in the life of an alternative high school that has radically changed its approach to discipline after the principal learned about the Adverse Childhood Experiences Study. The post-film panel discussion will explore Adverse Childhood Experiences, Trauma-Informed Care and the role of the school and community in supporting our youth.

The free screening will be held March 5 at the Southern Door Community Auditorium. The doors will open at 5:30 pm for a light meal; the film will begin at 6 pm; the panel discussion will follow the film. This event is open to all, but the film contains some language and material that is not suitable for young audiences.
