Four members of the Southern Door FFA attended the 212 Degrees and EDGE Leadership Conferences in Stevens Point on March 21 & 22. More than 400 members and advisers from around Wisconsin participated in these national leadership conferences.

The 212 Degrees Conference is a two-day personal development seminar designed for high school freshman and sophomores involved in the FFA organization. Freshmen FFA members Claire Olson, Marti Viste and Lydia Kramer attended this conference.

EDGE, which stands for Experiencing, Discovery, Growth and Excellence, is a personal development conference designed to help young students learn how they can develop and maintain a positive outlook on life. Becca Bongle, daughter of Steve and Jess Bongle, was the first student to attend this conference in Southern Door’s FFA history.
