On Sept. 22, seven members of the FFA chapter presented an assembly to the high school student body titled “Speak Up to Slow Down.” The overall message was making the responsible choice in regard to driving. These members gave statistics from Wisconsin and Door County about speed related accidents, injuries and fatalities. They also showed a video about the 2012 crash that involved nine Campbellsport High School students where three died. The presentation was wrapped up by comments from Sheriff Terry Vogel and School Liaison Officer Chris Neuville. Parents are encouraged to watch the video and have conversations with their children. The video can be found at speakuptoslowdown.com.
