Southern Door Girls Basketball Coach Resigns

Jason Shimon, girls basketball coach at Southern Door High School, has resigned. The school made the announcement Nov. 18, saying that Shimon indicated he is stepping down because of health concerns. 

“We are grateful for Coach Shimon’s years of service to the district and wish him all the best,” the school said in the announcement. “We will work quickly to secure an interim coach, both short and long term. We have a talented group of athletes and are optimistic for a successful season.”
