Southern Door Graduate Completes Basic Training in South Carolina

Alex Quigley, a 2019 graduate of Southern Door, completed 12 weeks of basic training Feb. 20 in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Private First-Class Quigley is now in advanced individual training for his military occupational specialty as a UH-60 helicopter repairer.

Quigley is dedicated to defending our country and loves what he’s doing. Because he completed his Eagle Scout status, it allowed him to enter at a higher rank – as an E2 – after basic graduation.
