Southern Door Hosts 11th Annual Fine Arts Festival

The 11th Annual Fine Arts Festival at Southern Door Middle and Elementary School will take place on Thursday, April 8 from 5 – 8 pm. The open house and exhibition of the K – 8 student artwork will fill the main hallways and cafeteria.

The community event is free and open to the public, and as art festival visitors view the artwork created by students, they will be invited to write a response to students about their artwork. These responses will be shared with the enthusiastic young artists at a later time.

During the evening, guests will also hear music performed by the elementary and middle school band and chorus. The middle school jazz band is scheduled to play at 7 pm.

To continue supporting the arts at Southern Door School, decorate your own ice cream sundaes will be available for sale. The Southern Door Booster Club apparel collection will also be open for purchase during the Fine Arts Festival.
