Southern Door School Board Seeks Applications to Fill Vacancy

The Southern Door School District is accepting applications for a school board vacancy. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years of age or older, resident of the district for at least 28 consecutive days at the time of filing, and not disqualified from voting under Wisconsin law. Applications are due in the district office by 3 pm on June 15, 2017. Submit applications to Jane Jennerjohn, Southern Door School District Office, 2073 County DK, Brussels, WI 54204. Applications may be picked up in the district office or found on the district website under Board of Education at link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByqJzkohUBQ8WVdaejB1c1Npakk/view?usp=sharing. An appointment will be made at the Monday, June 26, 2017 school board meeting. As soon as the appointee takes their oath of office, they will become a member of the board. The term of the vacancy is until April 2018, at which time the seat would be up for a one-year term by election.
