Southern Door Senior Performs at Weidner

Southern Door High School senior Dalena Pakalske will be performing at this year’s Choral Masterworks concert, April 5, 7 pm, at the Weidner Center in Green Bay.

Pakalske will perform the audition piece she originally submitted to the Dudley Birder Chorale in competition for the Bush Scholarship Award for Vocal Excellence. 

The Dudley Birder Chorale awarded Pakalske a second place cash prize after she competed against students from around the state. Started by Robert and Carol Bush in 2003, the Bush Scholarship Award for Vocal Excellence continues to promote, encourage and support music in Wisconsin schools by providing funds to outstanding students, vocal teachers and high school music programs.
