Southern Door Senior Publishes First Book

Southern Door High School senior Austin Claflin announced the publication of his first book, Rebel and Roman. Centered around the Gallic War of 52 BC, the book follows two brothers through the tumultuous war of Gallic independence, one fighting on the side of Rome, the other on the side of the Gallic rebellion. Claflin hopes to continue his love of writing and studying ancient history with the publication of more books, the next of which will hopefully be available this spring.
