Southern Door Students Recognized for Academic and Artistic Achievement

Southern Door students have recently received recognition for their many achievements. Southern Door students were chosen for the Bay Area Musician’s Honor Choir. The following students were selected: Dennis Counard, Brooke Dantoin, Jolene Feeney, Cameron Friehe, Devin George, Erika Haberli, Anna LeBrun, Matthew Martinez-Garcia, Dustin McKinnon, Ben Richling, Maddie Weatherwax and Porsha Warwick. Congratulations to Feeney, who was selected as the only female soloist in one of the combined selections.

At the Sturgeon Bay Breakfast Rotary Youth Fine Arts Luncheon, the following Southern Door students were recognized for their outstanding achievements: Nicole Kruger – Art, Jolene Feeney – Choir, Brooke Dantoin – Drama, Julia Englebert – Band, and Devin George – Forensics.

The following students were honored at the Noon Rotary Club Vocational Award Luncheon at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club: CNC Machining – Reed Charles; Business/Marketing – Bailey Hanson; Metals – Jedidiah Ring; Family & Consumer Sciences – Sophie Kennedy & Morgan VanderMissen; Woods & Construction – Hunter Gau, Tyler Malcore, & Jacob Pigeon; Agriscience – Samuel Mueller & Alex Ploor; Graphic Communications – Regan Norton; Drafting/CAD – Claudia Nowak.

Also, congratulations to Pat O’Hern (Class of 1969) and Jim Flanigan (Class of 1990) who were inducted into the Southern Door Alumni Hall of Fame.
