Spaces Still Available for Bjِrklunden Seminars

Lawrence University’s Bjِrklunden announces openings are still available for the 2012 fall seminar series.

Since 1980, Lawrence University has sponsored a seminar series at Bjِrklunden, a 425-acre estate on the shore of Lake Michigan. During the week, seminar participants stay in a 37,000-square foot “lodge” that retains the estate’s Norwegian heritage.

The following seminars still have availability: “The Secrets to Winning Bridge Revealed: In Bidding, Play & Defense,” with Bill Murphy and “Autumn’s Unleashed Beauty,” with Don Quintenz (Sept. 30 – Oct. 50); “Writing the Tough Ones: A Poetry Workshop for Experienced Poets,” with Marilyn L. Taylor (Oct. 7 – 12); and “Samson,” with Bill Urbrock (Oct. 14 – 19).

Seminar classes meet weekday mornings and some evenings with remaining free time open to explore or relax around Bjِrklunden.
