Sparkling Wine and Jewelry at Plum Bottom

Plum Bottom Pottery & Gallery welcomes the community to “Moms and Mimosas” on May 13, 10 am to 5 pm. Help celebrate Mother’s Day weekend with the latest sparkling wine from Von Stiehl winery, mimosas and the shimmering jewelry of Lara Knutson.

Knutson’s “cloud of stardust” work is a must-see. Her Nebula jewelry is created from a fabric filigreed with 50,000 mirror-backed glass beads per square inch, which magnify light 100 times. Incorporating the reflective glass thread with gemstones and iridescent fibers allows her to create intriguing, elegant pieces that are wearable day or night. New York Magazine designates her work as a “best bet” saying, “a lot of designers throw around the phrase ‘day-to-night’ dressing, but Lara Knutson’s Nebula jewelry collection reinvents the concept.”

Plum Bottom Pottery & Gallery is celebrating all day with von Stiehl’s latest sparkling white wine Viognier & Chenin Blanc, mimosas and coffee from Door County Coffee & Tea. Plum Bottom is now open every day from 10 am to 5 pm. To visit, go 15 minutes north of Sturgeon Bay or five minutes south of Egg Harbor on Highway 42, then east on Plum Bottom Road to 4999 Plum Bottom Road.
