Wisconsin’s Schooner Coast is hosting a two-week voyage of the S/V Denis Sullivan, the world’s only re-creation of a 19th century three-masted Great Lakes schooner. Throughout the two weeks, the historic vessel will offer deck tours, Lake Michigan cruises and a three-day sail along the Schooner Coast.
Wisconsin’s Schooner Coast begins at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum in Manitowoc, continues to Two Rivers, Kewaunee and Algoma, and finishes at the Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay.
The Denis Sullivan will arrive in Sturgeon Bay on July 1, the date of the Door County Maritime Museum’s “Schooner Coast Ports of Call Gala.” Tickets for the event are $65.
Deck tours will be available 10 am – 3 pm on July 2, 3, and 4 and are $10 for adults and $5 for children. The museum will also host a three-hour cruise from 4 – 7 pm. Tickets are $65 for adults and $45 for children. Reservations are required.
