“Split Personalities” at UUF

Cathy Cofell

The UU Dickinson Poetry Series presents a spirited reading by two talented poets on March 12 at 7 pm. This night of poetry is free and open to the public. A reception with the poets follows the featured readers and open mic session.

Split Personalities is a book of collaborative poems authored by the two featured readers this month, Cathy Cofell and Karla Huston. Each will read selections of their own poetry, followed by some of the collaborative poems and a brief description of the process of collaboration.

Cathryn Cofell is the author of Sister Satellite, a collection of poetry released in 2013. She has also published six chapbooks, most recently Split Personality with Karla Huston and performs live with Obvious Dog including tracks from Lip.

Karla Huston is the author of A Theory of Lipstick as well as seven chapbooks of poetry, most recently, Outside of a Dog.

On the second Wednesday of every month the Dickinson Poetry Series features a renowned local or regional poet followed by an open mic, providing an opportunity for others to read their poetry. The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is located at 10341 Hwy. 42, Ephraim. For more information call 920.854.7559.
