Spring Candidate Meet-and-Greet at Door County Makers Space

On March 17, 12-2 pm, Door County residents are invited to a public meet-and-greet with several candidates on the April 3 spring ballot. These races include school board, town board, city council and county board. These races represent candidates from throughout the county, not just Sturgeon Bay. The majority of these candidates are women ages 45 and younger who have not previously held elected office. The meet-and-greet will take place immediately following the completion of the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Sturgeon Bay at Door County Makers Space, 24 N Third Avenue. Information will be available about individual candidates, as well as polling and district information for the entire county. Sample ballots will be available for educational purposes.

Candidates will also walk in the St. Patrick’s Day parade to raise awareness about early in-person voting.
