‘Spring I’ Art Show Opens at Plum Bottom Gallery

Plum Bottom Gallery will host an opening reception for its Spring I art show April 23, 10 am – 5 pm, at the 4999 Plum Bottom Road location in Egg Harbor. Featured artists will be at the gallery 3-6 pm, with artist talks beginning at 4 pm.

Among the featured artists, Stephanie Lord is a Door County resident who paints en plein air. She has participated in both the annual Miller Art Museum and Hardy Gallery Juried Exhibitions.

Inspired by the American Impressionist style, Keary Kautzer paints with limited hues to set the mood. Each scene is inspired by the Door County landscape and brings back treasured memories.

Stella Holmes draws her inspiration from Van Gogh, Monet and the Impressionist period. In trying to draw the viewer into the scene with a balance of color and light, Holmes wants others to see the joy and beauty of sunlight peeking through in each piece.

Annie Guldberg paints with her heart in the Rocky Mountains and her feet in the Midwest, blending vibrant dreams with the enchantment of the mountains. Her starting point is usually a real place that is then infused with emotions, memories and feelings.
