“Spring Locavore” Culinary Weekend Set for June 5-7

Door County Chef Terri Milligan is lending her culinary expertise to guests of The Eagle Harbor Inn. Her “Spring Locavore” Culinary Weekend is slated for June 5 – 7. A noted culinary teacher and chef, Chef Milligan is also a food writer. Her articles are frequently featured in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Edible Door magazine. She is also a frequent guest on Wisconsin Public Radio.

Culinary Weekend participants stay at Ephraim’s Eagle Harbor Inn and work side-by-side with the chef in a hands-on cooking class at the inn’s professional kitchen. The class is followed by a private dinner with culinary weekend participants and Chef Milligan at Eagle Harbor Inn.

In addition to the Saturday hands-on cooking class and dinner, culinary weekend participants will also enjoy a private Friday evening reception with Chef Milligan at Eagle Harbor Inn, plus a Saturday morning tour to some of Chef Milligan’s favorite culinary destinations.

In addition to the culinary weekends, Eagle Harbor Inn offers guests the opportunity to sign up for special hands-on classes any time during the year with Chef Milligan. A minimum of four people is required for a private hands-on class during the guest’s stay. Classes can be tailored to the guest’s individual culinary requests.

The cost of the culinary weekend is $129 per person plus accommodations at the Eagle Harbor Inn. Reservations for the weekend can be made by calling Eagle Harbor Inn at 920.854.2121. For more information, visit chefterrrimilligan.com and eagleharborinn.com.
