Spring Road Work Begins in Fish Creek Tuesday

The Door County Highway Department will be begin improvements to a drainage structure on Spring Road in the Town of Gibraltar Tuesday, Feb. 13. The work includes excavation and constructing extensions to the concrete box culvert that carries Fish Creek under Spring Road. This work is necessary for the roadway reconstruction and widening of Spring Road authorized by the Town of Gibraltar during the spring of 2018.  

Traffic will be limited to one lane during construction hours from 7 am – 3:30 pm. 

All motorists are urged to use caution in the construction area and to obey all construction signage. As with all construction projects expect delays if you are traveling on Spring Road. Questions regarding this detour can be answered by contacting the Door County Highway Department at 920.746.2500.
