St. John Bosco Students to Perform “The Wizard of Oz”

St. John Bosco proudly presents The Wizard of Oz, the Young Performers’ Edition by L. Frank Baum, on April 22 at 7 pm and April 23 at 2 pm in the St. John Bosco Gym.

The hour-and-15-minute musical, designed for upper elementary and middle school performers, is based on the book by L. Frank Baum and the 1939 MGM movie. The St. John Bosco cast contains approximately 40 students led by director/teacher Bruce Newbern. Join them for the classic tale of Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion as they journey through Oz and discover that there is no place like home.

Tickets are $5 for children ages 3-12 and $8 for adults. Tickets are available for purchase at the school office or at the door for each performance. St. John Bosco is located at 15 N. Elgin Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. For more information visit
