St. Luke’s Hosts Rummage Sale for Good Causes

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church is raising money for HELP of Door County and Thistle Farms. As part of their giving back, both locally and nationally, St. Luke’s is participating in the Sister Bay Community Rummage Sale, May 16. In addition to selling items, they are selling sloppy Joes and pulled pork for lunch. All money raised from both the rummage sale and the sale of food will be divided between HELP and the Magdalene Program of Thistle Farms. HELP (helpofdoorcounty.org) provides programs and support for those dealing with domestic or relationship violence. Magdalene (thistlefarms.org) is a residential program for women who have survived lives of prostitution, trafficking, addiction and life on the streets. Besides shopping and enjoying lunch to help both of these programs, if you want to donate items for the sale, call the church at 920.854.9600.
