StageKids Holds Auditions for ‘‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’

Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP) announces auditions for the StageKids production of Ken Ludwig’s ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. Children of all ages are invited to read from the script on Oct. 18 at 5:30 pm or Oct. 21 at 3 pm. Performances are Dec. 8 & 9 at 7:30 pm with an additional matinee at 2 pm on Dec. 10. Rehearsals begin Nov. 6. Interested actors who are not able to make the scheduled auditions times may call 920.256.0404 to set up an appointment.

Ludwig’s ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas begins with the traditional poem by Clement Clarke Moore: “’Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.” But wait, a mouse is stirring because Santa missed his house last year. The play takes the audience on the wild adventures of a mouse, an elf, and a spunky little girl who just won’t take no for an answer. Amy Ensign directs this joyful tribute to the holiday season.

Auditions will be held at TAP, located at 239 Third Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. For more information visit
