StageKids Offers Film Lab

Third Avenue Playhouse’s StageKids program announces one of its most exciting theatre labs to date. This fall from Oct. 8-Nov. 15 is its first Film Lab for middle and high school students. During this lab students will work with instructor Spencer Milligan to create original film projects. They will also work on scenes from other famous movies.

Students will have the opportunity to act, write, direct and operate the camera while under the expert guidance of Spencer Milligan, who has had a long career in film and stage work.

Lab students will meet twice a week for six weeks. Wednesday labs will be from 4 – 7 pm and Saturday labs will be from 11 am – 4 pm. Students will meet at TAP and, depending on the needs of the film, there will be opportunities to film on location.

Tuition is $125 and there are scholarships available. Registration is now open by calling TAP at 920.743.1760 or reaching TAP education director, Ryan Shaw, at [email protected].
