StageKids Presents AlieNation for One Performance Only

StageKids presents AlieNation, for one performance only, on May 25 at 2 pm at Third Avenue Playhouse in Sturgeon Bay. The Sossy Mechanics team (Brian Sostek and Megan McClelland) will direct a group of Door County students in this allegorical story about fear of the unfamiliar and acceptance of those who are different as told by humans, their alien neighbors, and a whole lot of foam swimming noodles.

The StageKids cast consists of over twenty Door County students ranging in age from 6 – 17 years-old. Tickets are $10 general admission, $5 child (11-years-old and younger).

Sossy Mechanics will perform Trick Boxing May 24 – 26; the Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 and the Sunday performance is at 2 pm. In Trick Boxing, Dancing Danny trains for boxing matches and meets a dancer named Bella. This physical comedy is told through rapid-fire dialogue, high-energy dance numbers, ridiculous puppetry, true love, and boxing.

Tickets are $22/general admission, $10/students (12 – 24), and $5/child (11 & younger).

During their stay, Sossy Mechanics also conducted in-school theatre workshops at Sevastopol, Kewaunee, Gibraltar and Washington Island schools under the banner of TAP’s StageKids artists-in-residence program. For more information visit SossyMechanics.com or thirdavenueplayhouse.com.
