Start 2016 with a New Year’s Day Hike at Ida Bay

The end of December has always been a time for celebration and Crossroads at Big Creek hopes everyone’s New Year’s Eve is happy and safe. Entering the New Year, Crossroads invites the community to celebrate sunlight.

On Dec. 31 at 3:45 pm, enjoy the Sunset on the Year Hike. This is a Crossroads tradition; this end-of-year hike is designed to watch the sun set over Big Creek Cove. The hike will go on whether or not the sun is shining. Meet at the Big Creek Bridge on Utah Street.

On Jan. 1 at 2 pm, take the New Year’s Day Hike at Ida Bay. Start 2016 in the fellowship of hiking with friends at the Ida Bay Preserve. Meet at the Zenith Street Entrance.

These hikes are free and open to the public. The Collins Learning Center at Crossroads will be closed New Year’s Day, but is otherwise open 2 – 4:30 pm daily. For more information visit crossroadsatbigcreek.com.
