State Bar Offers Free Business-Law Consultations

The Business Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin – in partnership with the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic – is offering free legal consultations for small businesses through its Small Business Assistance Program, which has already helped businesses in at least 20 counties. Owners of small businesses throughout the state can connect virtually to an experienced business lawyer to get advice that they may not otherwise be able to afford. 

Although this project began in response to the pandemic, it is ongoing to assist business owners and organizations that need a variety of free, nonlitigation business-law services.
