State Seeks Students for Agriculture Youth Council

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is accepting applications from high school students who will be seniors during the 2023-24 school year and who wish to serve on the next Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council.

The council seeks to encourage young people to engage with state government and increase their awareness of DATCP’s interactions with Wisconsin’s agriculture industry. Members participate in virtual monthly sessions to listen to presentations, engage in discussions and connect with professionals throughout the agriculture industry. Students serve a one-year term and receive a certificate at the term’s completion.

Find the application and additional information at AgYouthCouncil.wi.gov, and apply through March 31.
