Stay Connected, Keep Learning with DCLIR Courses

Spring-semester registration is open, and classes will begin in February for those who are in or near retirement and seeking ways to remain socially connected while learning new things.

Door County Learning in Retirement (DCLIR) courses – more than 75 for the spring semester – focus on enhancing knowledge and trying new things, including Container Gardening, Birding by Habitat, Ship Canal Hike, Spring Fishing, Garden Totems, Chinese Exercise for Seniors, Vision Loss, Battle of Little Bighorn, Cybersecurity and more.

Courses are open to registered members only.

The spring-term membership fee of $50 includes access to all available classes, plus any pop-up courses throughout the year. Annual registration will open in the fall, when a $70 registration fee provides access to all of the fall and spring classes.

Depending on the subject, classes will be offered in person, in person and via Zoom (blended), or via Zoom only. More details are available in the course catalog.

Visit nwtc.edu/lir to see a full list of the spring courses and find out how to become a member. To receive a print copy of the catalog, call 920.747.4947 or email [email protected].
