This one is for you Jennie! It was a gray and overcast day so with the last two nights of great live music, I was a little slow going and missed most of the daytime music on the main stage. When I arrived, I ran into my friends Jennie and Kevin. “This is why we are here, James McMurtry!” There he was up on stage all the way from Austin, TX. The rain held off and the music went on.

After james, different aspects of the Construction Crew took the stage and sang tunes that were written about “Steely” Then they all finished off the main stage with a party on the bridge, again tonight.

Back to the bars! Todd Carey ripped it up at the Ladder House followed by a Rippin and Rocking set by one of my long time friendly bands, Little Marsh Overflow. LMO kicked it up a notch.

Off to another venue. I stepped outside of the Ladder House and I could here a jam going on down the street. Nope, not at the Red Room, Ahhh over at Butch’s. Kim Manning was heading up a Groovesession. The place was packed and the crowed was full of energy!

Steel Bridge is still going on today (Sunday) so get outside and don’t miss it on the main stage. When that is all said and done, it will wind itself down at the Hitching Post in Valmy for the final party of SBSF 2010.

Thank you Steel Bridge Songfest for bringing great acts and filling the air with tunes of live music throughout the great city of Sturgeon Bay and Door County!
