Stella and Lou opens May 10 at Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP) in Sturgeon Bay. All lobby donations received on opening night will go to Neighbor to Neighbor Volunteer Caregivers of Door County.
In Stella and Lou, two kindred spirits at Lou’s South Philadelphia bar seek solace as they navigate changing times and past relationships. It’s an intimate exploration of friendship, forgiveness, and the longing for companionship that grows with the passage of time. This funny, wise, and tender love story is a later-in-life portrait of friendship and taking the next step. The play is directed by James Valcq and features Claire Morkin and Drew Brhel.
The play runs through June 3 and will be performed at 7:30 pm Thursday through Saturday and at 2 pm Sunday. A pay-what-you-can preview will be held May 9 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $28 general admission and $12 students. This play is not recommended for ages 13 and under.
TAP now offers discounted season tickets for all six remaining studio theater productions in 2018. Season ticket holders have a choice of six-, five-, four-, or three-show packages. This offer expires June 3. For more information visit thirdavenueplayhouse.com.
