Stepped-up Support for Veterans

Adopt A Soldier-Door County focuses not only on the needs of men and women from Door and Kewaunee Counties who are currently serving in the armed forces. Now the group has stepped up to support those who have already served through help with financial and medical needs and home repairs.

Recent projects include replacing water and sewer lines and installing a new roof for a World War II veteran, and providing a new furnace and new siding for a disabled younger veteran who has a wife and child.
