Steve Apfel Wins DCMM’s Boat Raffle

Steve Apfel of Green Bay won the Door County Maritime Museum’s Annual Boat Raffle. Apfel took home a handcrafted classic wooden boat – a Beach Peapod – complete with trailer.

Each year the grand prize is produced by the museum’s adult boat-building class. After months of ticket sales, the drawing for the annual raffle took place on Oct. 13 during Pumpkin Patch Festival in Egg Harbor.

Second place winner was Steve Kitzinger of Collins, Wis., who took home a natural gas fire pit. In all, 72 prizes were presented. A complete list of winners is available at the Maritime Museum. For more information call 920.743.5958 or email [email protected].
