Steve Cromell Appointed Sevastopol Interim Superintendent

The Sevastopol Board of Education is pleased to announce the employment of Steve Cromell as interim superintendent for the Sevastopol School District. Cromell had been the district administrator in Sevastopol from 2007-2012. He has served as an elementary, middle and high school principal, as well as special education director, business manager and transportation director in Munising, Mich., Mishicot, Wis., and in Sevastopol. His superintendent experience totals 22 years in the three districts mentioned above. Cromell graduated with an Educational Specialist Degree from Michigan State in 1983. Steve and his wife Debra will reside in the local area. Board president Sue Todey stated, “We welcome Mr. Cromell to our district and are pleased to have his help in preparing for the new school year and focusing upon the education of our students as we move forward together as a total Sevastopol community.”
