Steven Stanger Featured at Glas through Labor Day

Steven Stanger will display his photography at Glas Coffeehouse through the Labor Day weekend. Stanger is interested in capturing the natural abstraction that occurs when light and objects are reflected off man-made and naturally occurring objects like water and glass. His interest in abstract photography has most recently resulted in photographs recalling Vorticism, the first British abstract art movement in 1914.

His photographs have been juried into the “Picture This” exhibit at the Hardy Gallery in Ephraim (2011), the 50th Annual Hardy Gallery Juried Exhibit (2012) and Hal Grutzmacher’s Writers’ Expose and Photography Jubilee (2012) presented by the Peninsula Pulse.

Glas showcases the work of a new artist each month and is currently seeking artists for 2013. Those interested can email Tammy VanDenBusch, [email protected], with photos of their work.
