Two Implicated in Storage Shed Burglaries

A 37-year-old man from Sturgeon Bay and a 29-year-old man from the Algoma area were implicated in an investigation by the Door County Sheriff’s Department into the burglaries of several storage sheds in northern Door County in the fall of 2016 and winter of 2017.

The two men turned over vintage toys, sporting goods, tools and collectibles worth several thousand dollars. The Door County Sheriff’s Department is asking residents who rent storage sheds to check whether the units are secure and if they are missing any property.
