Strivers Capture Four State Titles

The Door County YMCA Strivers Gymnastic Team hosted the 2013 YMCA State Gymnastic Tournament Mar. 15 – 17 at Sturgeon Bay High School and TJ Walker Middle School.

Level 3 gymnast Miah Eliyah captured her gold on balance beam with a score of 9.4.

The 2013 State Champions are Sophia Pollman (uneven bars), Katie Frank (floor), Miah Eliyah (balance beam), and Emily Ulberg (balance beam). The Xcel Platinum team also found success, placing second as a team.
