Strivers Gymnasts Capture 3 Golds

Three Door County YMCA Strivers gymnasts captured a total of six gold medals at the 32nd annual Wisconsin State Badger Games. 

Level 8 senior gymnast Miya Eliyha grabbed gold in the floor exercise with a score of 9.35, and on the balance beam with a score of 8.65. Level 6 gymnast Daylia Sund captured gold in three events: floor exercise with a score of 9.5, vault with a score of 9.15, and in the All-Around with a score of 36.00. Excel Gold gymnast Julia Gregory earned a gold medal on the balance beam with a score of 9.10.In all, 10 Door County YMCA gymnasts competed in the games, winning six event championship titles and 33 individual medals. The Level 6 girls team finished fifth out of 13 teams.
