Strugeon Bay’s Third Avenue Playhouse Presents “On Golden Pond”

Third Avenue Playhouse is reviving their production of On Golden Pond as part of its 10th Anniversary season. The show will run for eight performances, August 12 – 15, 19 – 22. Thursday through Saturday shows begin at 7:30 pm. Sunday matinees are at 2 pm.

“We first produced On Golden Pond in 2007,” says Judy Drew, TAP’s Executive Director. “It remains one of our audience favorites and, with that in mind, we decided to mount a revival this summer.”

Husband and wife team Bill Bauernfeind and Renee Kujawski will reprise their roles as Norman and Ethel. Joining them are original cast members Anne St. Henry as Chelsea and David Magle as Bill Ray. New to the cast is Marcel Bruyere as Charlie, the quintessential Maine mailman.

“As with the 2007 production, one of our For Kids By Kids Theater Camp participants, Josh Augustson, will play the role of Billy Ray,” said Director Henry Timm. “This is exactly the kind of progression we are hoping to foster with our children’s theater program.”

Tickets for On Golden Pond are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students and $8 for children under 12.
