Students Awarded Counard Scholarships

Three area high school students have earned $1,000 Carole Counard Scholarships to use in furthering their education. The scholarships, part of the Door County Visitor Bureau’s (DCVB) Spirit of Door County program, are named after the late Carole Counard, a longtime DCVB employee. The recipients are Elizabeth Atencio and Gabriel Lettie from Gibraltar High School and Molly McGrane from Washington Island High School.
