Studio234 and instructor Jen Aldrich are offering adult QiGong classes. Aldrich is a member of the National QiGong Association, certified 200-hour QiGong practitioner and Wuji Hundun instructor under the tutelage of QiGong master Francesco Garripoli.
QiGong – an ancient breath and slow-movement practice that cultivates the life force energy of the body, mind and spirit – is gentle enough for seniors and those with limited abilities, and it’s excellent for whole-body and mind health. Benefits include an increased range of motion, mindfulness, stress reduction, relaxation, energy and presence.
Classes are offered Saturdays, 10 am, and Sundays, 11 am, starting April 23 at 234 N. 3rd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay. The drop-in fee is $10 per class. Starting in June, the Sunday classes will be held at Sturgeon Bay’s Martin Park.
