The Sturgeon Bay Police Department has released photographs of the teenage male suspected of setting a fire at St. Peter’s Church on June 9.

The photos come from the surveillance footage that captured the suspect walking into the church parking lot around 1:57 am. The suspect attempted to enter the locked church before deciding to set its keyless entry box on fire.

Officers also found a potato chip bag that they believe the suspect tried to set aflame at another church entrance.

Police believe the fire which took place at Otumba Park that same morning was caused by the same suspect. That fire was started at a water meter and set some of the siding of the park pavilion ablaze.

The surveillance footage shows the suspect is a white, teenage male, who wore plaid shorts, a shirt with a skull on it, white socks, and dark shoes.

Lt. Clint Henry says that the department has a couple of leads, but they’re willing to entertain more. A cash reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.

Tips can be called in to the Sturgeon Bay Police Department at 920.746.2450, where they should be directed to either Lt. Henry or Sgt. Zager.
