Sturgeon Bay Celebrates Fall with Harvest Festival

On Sept. 22, the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center will host Harvest Festival and Harvest Moon Celebration.
Festivities begin at 9 am on Third Avenue in downtown Sturgeon Bay. Third Avenue will be closed to traffic between Jefferson Street and Nebraska Street to celebrate the beginning of the autumn season.
The streets will be filled with the Old Bolts Car show, art and craft vendors and a meet & greet for the retired greyhounds. Live music for the day includes Inkapirka (9 am – 5 pm), DJ Michael Raye (9 am – 12 pm), Hot Off the Grill (12 – 5 pm), and Ronnie Nyles (11 am – 2 pm).
Non-profit organizations and vendors will sell brats, burgers, turkey legs, booyah, funnel cakes, Italian sausages, cowboy kettle corn, and beverages.
The Harvest Moon Celebration takes place on South Third Avenue in front of the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center Office, and features the street art auction at 6 pm and followed by dancing in the streets with music by Cold Hard Cash until 11 pm. Food and beverages will also be available.
If unable to attend the auction but interested in a piece of street art, absentee bid forms are available, as are stand-ins (on the phone with bidders), for the participants’ convenience.
