Sturgeon Bay Celebrates Fourth of July

Shake out your patriotic clothes and come to Sturgeon Bay to celebrate and make memories on the Fourth of July. Join friends and neighbors in Sunset Park on July 4 for an old-fashioned ice cream social, food, drinks, music and fabulous fireworks.

Dirty Deuce & Friends will play on the music stage at Sunset Park at 5 pm. The night will rock when WiFEE and THE HUZz BAND takes the stage around 7 pm, and leads the crowd in a soulful rendition of the National Anthem at the start of the firework show.

Expert volunteer grillers from the Pioneer Fire Department will sell brats, hotdogs and burgers, with all proceeds supporting the Sturgeon Bay Fire Department.

Adult refreshments, including wine and beer from Door County Brewing Company, will also be available to purchase from the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center. All proceeds from the ice cream social and beverage booth go toward the Fourth of July celebration via the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center.

Three cheers go out to Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding for being the title sponsor of Sturgeon Bay Celebrates 2016.

“From all of the working men and women of Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding, we are grateful and proud to sponsor this Fourth of July Celebration,” said Todd Thayse, Vice President and General Manager of Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding.
