Sturgeon Bay City Council Candidate Forum Feb. 5

The League of Women Voters of Door County is sponsoring a Candidate Forum for candidates running for Sturgeon Bay City Council seats in Wards 2, 4 and 6, on Monday, Feb. 5, (snow date Feb. 7) at 6:30 pm in the council chambers (second floor) at City Hall, 421 Michigan St.

The forum is an opportunity for the public to become acquainted with the candidates:  David Hayes, John C. Lodl and Bob Starr (District 2); Kelly Avenson and Richard Wiesner II (District 4); and Stewart Fett, Lauri Fish and Seth Wiederanders (District 6).

The event consists of anonymously written questions from the audience. Each candidate will have an equal opportunity to share his or her positions and views with the public. The forum will be videotaped and aired on public access cable channels in Sturgeon Bay, internet link:  sbtv.viebit.com.
