Sturgeon Bay Co-op Next Topic of Green Drinks

On July 27, Green Drinks will host a public conversation about the advent of a member-owned, retail food store on Sturgeon Bay’s west side. The event will be held at Glas Green Coffeehouse in Sturgeon Bay from 5 – 7 pm. Glas is located at 67 E. Maple Street in Sturgeon Bay, just west of the new bridge.

A lead organizer of the West Side Food Co-op, Ross Dippel, will share his take on the progress made in implementing the organizers’ business plan.

The vision of the co-op states, “West Side Food Co-op is a neighborhood grocery store that acts as a cornerstone, supporting and encouraging healthful and sustainable living. Reaching out to all local, sustainable producers and industries, we will model to the world the positive, far reaching impact of a successful, community-owned business.”
