Sturgeon Bay District Facilities Survey Reminder

Members of all Sturgeon Bay School District households are encouraged to provide feedback on the district’s future facilities planning through a community survey that every district household should have received by mail in mid-October. (Call the district office at 920.746.2807 if you did not receive a survey.) The survey’s response period is open until Nov. 1.

The district encourages every household to complete the survey, either online or using the mailed paper copy. School Perceptions – an independent, Wisconsin-based firm with expertise in conducting school-district surveys – developed the survey and will analyze the results. All survey data are sent to School Perceptions to ensure respondents’ anonymity.

“The district is committed to a transparent process and moving forward with a solution that is crafted from taxpayer feedback and priorities,” said Superintendent Dan Tjernagel. “These decisions could impact our community for decades, so I encourage all residents to participate.” The community is invited to learn about the survey results at the Board of Education learning session Nov. 5, 5 pm, in the high school library. The results will also be available on the district website in November, and a press release is planned as well.
