Sturgeon Bay Featured in ‘Municipality’ Magazine

Sturgeon Bay’s 2020 economic-development efforts have been featured in the February 2021 issue of the League of Wisconsin Municipalities’ The Municipality magazine in an article titled “Economic Development during and after the Pandemic” by Sturgeon Bay Mayor David Ward. Thanks to Destination Sturgeon Bay, Tim Graul’s cover photo also offers readers a glimpse of the successful Unwrapping Sturgeon Bay event. 

“Getting through this COVID pandemic has been a team effort,” Ward said. “Our health care providers, county Public Health [department], Destination Sturgeon Bay, local businesses and city staff worked together to get us positioned for a great 2021.”The Municipality circulates to nearly 10,000 officials and staff in cities and villages statewide to provide inspiration and information about municipal issues.
